I was very unclear on RSS and feeds and this lesson was extremely helpful. So how does the use of feeds differ from a virtual bookmarking system like Delicious? You get notified of the latest content, without randomly checking your favorite sites. An example of this might be one of the blogs on School Library Journal, like the Neverending Search from Joyce Valenza. She creates a new post; you know about it. This seems like a great professional tool, perhaps paralleling listservs or Google Alerts. Mmm...lots to think about!
